Lora's generous, patient and positive personality associated with her
ability to help you break down the steps and make you feel like a
beautiful tango goddess make her a unique teacher. I highly recommend
her!!! Sylvie R, Language Teacher

When I first met Lora three years ago, I was feeling really discouraged
by bad teaching and was about to give up even trying to learn to dance
the Argentin Tango. Lora's teaching encouraged and inspired me and
continues to inform my dancing. Shelley P, Book Publisher

Wow, what a wonderful hidden gem in Clapham! A cosy sanctuary of
warmth hidden upstairs at The Grey Goose.Wonderful music, individual
attention given to everyone by the vibrant and enthusiastic Lora.
Warm, friendly people to dance with and practice those awkward moves
whilst enjoying the 'embrace'.

After visiting Buenos Aires in 2005, I was left in awe of the beauty and passion of the tango, and with a desire to learn
the dance myself. After trying a couple of classes in London which were rather intimidating and impersonal, I stumbled
across Lora's class, which myself and a couple of friends began to attend regularly. The most enjoyable thing about
Lora's style of teaching is the informality and her personal touch - I always feel at complete ease and, while she works
us hard, there is always time for laughter and a glass of wine! The atmosphere of the group is a happy one and I have
made many friends. Occasionally, there are times when the day has been long and tiring, and the effort to go to tango
feels like too much. However, I can safely say that whenever I feel tired or down, the class has helped to lift my spirits
and left me with a spring in my step on my return home. Anna, Programme Officer

You certainly can get a warm feeling by attending Tango Heat. The atmosphere’s friendly, the space is intimate but
stylish, the teaching: superb. This salon provides you with a unique opportunity to get one-to-one attention in a group
setting.
Lora, the brightly burning flame behind Tango Heat, is an excellent lead, a patient instructor who knows everyone‘s
tango strengths and weaknesses, and determined to make everyone a better dancer. In stark contrast to the sarcasm of
some other teachers‘ „a beginner’s a human too“, Lora‘s motto is that a beginner is not a beginner too long, and under
her watchful eyes this motto becomes a self-full filling prophecy. People flourish in this nurturing environment where
more experienced dancers are generous, guest instructors cherry picked gems, such as Edward Tattersfield, the
dashing young dancers‘ dancer from BA.The only warning: once you’ve tried, you‘ll have difficulties keeping away from
the place! Eva, Dance Teacher
